Transcriptome data generated either by microarray or next-generation sequencing technologies pose a rich set of bioinformatics challenges. Our group develops new and efficient algorithms for the analysis as well as visualization of expression data, where we put an emphasis on integrating transcriptome also with genome data. Furthermore, our analysis is not restricted to protein-coding genes, an important part of our research is devoted to small non-coding and antisense RNAs.<br/>
Our software frameworks are designed to be both user-friendly as well as powerful platforms for continued algorithm development.
